Offered here is a ONE of FIVE in North America Citroen Namco Pony. What's a Pony? A Citroen 2CV drivetrain with a Mehari/Jeep like body from Greek Utility Vehicle company, NAMCO. Produced in Greece and exported to Africa and the Middle East, the Pony proved to be, like the 2CV, a popular car with an unburstable engine, awesome mileage and go anywhere capability with a smooth comfy ride!
This car was originally from Southern California, so really no rust and has only been in BC for 5 years. Trailered up to Saltspring Island, and featured in last years French Italian Car Show in Vancouver. Runs quite well with a new rebuilt carburator and maintenanced from Pretzel Motors on Saltspring Island. All original except front bumper! Passenger side headlamp bezel needs gluing. Some minor nicks and surface rust on minor areas. Like the 2CV this features the 602cc 32 horsepower aircooled engine and a 4 speed manual.
